DIRECTIONS TO DUFFY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:
Traveling west I-84:
Take exit 41 (South Main St.),
Go right to the second stop light (about 2 miles) to Sedgwick Rd. Take left onto Sedgwick Rd. Turn left onto Westminster Dr., follow to Duffy School.
Traveling east I-84:
Take exit 41 (South Main St.),
Go left to third stop light (about 2 miles) to Sedgwick Rd.,
Go left on Sedgwick Rd. Turn left onto Westminster Dr., follow to Duffy School.
I 84 to Exit 41 South Main Street. Approximately 4 miles on left hand side after West Hartford Center and Bishops Corner Shopping Plaza (Bertucci's/Blockbuster etc)
Northwest of WH:
Route 44 East to West Hartford. Turn left onto North Main Street at Bishops Corner (McDonald’s and Staples on left with gas stations on three corners). High school entrance is 1.1 miles on the left.
North of Hartford from I:91 S:
I-91 South to Exit 35 (Route 218, Windsor/Bloomfield). At the end of the exit turn right and follow Route 218, 6.3 miles into West Hartford. High school entrance is on the right .5 miles past the sign for NorthwestCatholicHigh School.
East of Hartford from I-84 W:
Take I - 84 West to I - 291 W. Follow to end and take Route 218 Exit 1. At the end of the exit turn left onto Rte 218 and follow for 6.3 miles into West Hartford. High school entrance is on the right .5 miles past the sign for NorthwestCatholicHigh School
Boy's Youth Lacrosse Fields are behind the tennins courts and stadium in the back left corner of the field complex.
From Route 84:
I-84 to Exit 39 Park Road Exit. Right off exit ramp and then 1st left onto Trout Brook Drive. At 7th light take a right on Mohawk Drive (through 5 major intersections after Albany Ave). 1st Left into King Phillip Drive.
From the West (Avon, Simsbury):
- Route 44 East into West Hartford
- Left onto King Philip Drive after Bishops Corner Intersection
- 3/10 of a mile turn right on Mohawk Drive
- Apprx 200 yards, left into Driveway of school
From East past 291 interchange (Tolland, Vernon, South Windsor):
- I-84 West to I-291 WestBound all the way to the end
- Exit 1 (CT-218/Cottage Grove Road). Left at light onto Rt 218.
- Follow 4 miles through Bloomfield, past Cigna.
- Road takes a 90 degree left turn into West Hartford.
- Just past Hall High (on right) take a left at the light on Huron Drive.
- Through 1st light (King Philip Drive). 200 yards on left is the back entrance to the school.
The fields are located in the back of the school. The easiest entrance is via Mohawk Drive. Fields are in the back right corner behind the baseball fields. There is an additional parking lot on King Philip Drive in front of the school. If multiple events are going on use this lot as the back lot fills up.
